Tim Kasher appears in the video for Cursive's "Drunken Birds."

Cursive debuted a new video for “Drunken Birds,” one of the tracks from its recent album on Saddle Creek Records, “I Am Gemini.”

The video features a mime and other performers (including Cursive) onstage and backstage at a theater.

Most of them are upset about their performance for one reason or another and quite a few turn to drinking, “the old elixer” as the song puts it.

On drums, you’ll also spot Craig DeMayo (you may know him as Craig D) on drums in place of Cully Symington, which is interesting. Symington was still listed as the band’s drummer in a press release. Maybe he was just unavailable the day it filmed?

Anyway, the band’s headed to Europe this week and won’t be back to the states until July. Dates are posted after the jump.
