The Faint drop DVD preview vid

Check out the trailer for The Faint’s upcoming “Danse Macabre” DVD. It shows a few behind the scenes clips, my favorite being in the 20 to 25-second mark where they’re taking photos of a band member dancing like a crazy person.

The band is reissuing the excellent dance-punk album on Nov. 19. It’s being offered in a couple formats: double disc with the DVD as well as double vinyl, double CD and DVD.

I’m most interested in the bonus tracks and remixes coming with this as well as the DVD, which has “archival video footage from the band, live projection videos from that era’s tour dates, the “Agenda Suicide” music video (MK12), some live footage and more,” according to Saddle Creek.

Pre-order the reissue here. (Pre-orders ship on Oct. 30, which is when I’d expect the Saddle Creek Shop to have it, too.)

The LP version is limited to 3,000 while the CD version is limited to 5,000. If you’re of the downloading sort, they have that, too.

Also remember the band plays Sokol Auditorium on Dec. 14.
