Photos: Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros at Stir Cove

Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros performs at Stir Cove on Tuesday.

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros played a fun, rousing set on Tuesday at Stir Cove.

Beginning with “40 Day Dream” and ending with “Home” and “Om Nashi Me,” the show was a blast. People in bandanas and flowy skirts danced around like hippies. It was a great time.

“Go Ahead” is actually a song called “If You Wanna”, that they’ve been playing on tour for two or three years.

Any chance you got any pictures when Alex went down into the crowd?

Hey Matt – Unfortunately, I wasn’t close enough to get any shots of Alex in the audience. Would have been a good one!

Damn, I was the guy he had his arm around, and a ton of people took pictures, but I didn’t think at all to ask anyone to send them to me haha.
