On Friday, Hear Nebraska did the thing it does best: Show off Nebraska’s best music.
At the Holland Performing Arts Center, Kill County brought delicate country, Big Harp bluesy soul and Digital Leather synthy punk.
They’re three bands one may not normally throw on the same bill, but the music slowly rose from a whiskey depression to an beer-soaked mania.
It was a fantastic cross-section of Nebraska music, and I hope that Hear Nebraska continues the series. (And that NET’s broadcast is successful, so that they continue their efforts as well.)
