Rancid has always been on my list of “bands to see,” but I was always sad to say I had never seen them before. I’m glad to have remedied that Thursday at Sokol.

Tim Armstrong kicked things off with his fun band Tim Timebomb and Friends, which did a whole bunch of covers including a ska version of the Faces’ “Ooh La La.”

Rancid ripped through all the fun stuff including awesome singalongs like “Olympia WA,” “Fall Back Down” and “Ruby Soho.”
